If you haven’t heard of Names yet, you’re in for a real treat (of the strawberry chocolate ice cream kind).
Names is a Vancouver duo comprised of Amy and Jay – two talented individuals who are changing “tha game”. Amy lays down memorable and sultry vocals with Jay handling production like a 16th century ice wizard.
A very cool detail worth mentioning is how they tear it up live. Jay manipulates and performs all the beats real time off an instrument from the future called a Monome.

If you live in Vancouver, come and support them at LUX on April 20. It’s a listening party of epic proportions in honor of their newly released EP “Paint”.
